Measurement methodology
AI Recommendation Rate Methodology
RankingLocal separates estimated readiness from live measurement so local businesses can see what was inferred, what was actually tested, and what changed after fixes.
AI Recommendation Readiness Estimate
This is a diagnostic estimate based on crawlability, schema, local evidence, reviews, citations, page structure, and REAL Method signals. It is useful for finding likely blockers, but it is not a live AI answer measurement.
Live AI Recommendation Test
A live test stores the prompt, engine, answer, mention, position, citation, and timestamp. These records are used for paid evidence baselines, competitor gap analysis, and before/after proof reports.
Longitudinal Tracking
Tracking repeats the same measured prompt set over time. RankingLocal reports movement across that fixed set and avoids claiming that one fix caused every lead or every ranking change.

| Pro | Managed prompt strategy, execution, retesting, and interpretation. |
What The Report Can And Cannot Prove
Before/after proof reports show measured movement after verified fixes. They are not a guaranteed causal claim, and they do not claim Semrush-scale market-wide prompt coverage.
